[A loud thud is the first thing recorded. Setsuna is sprawled on the ground. He sits up. Blood seeps from his wing, his hand over the wound.]

What the hell was that for? You're such idiots! [He yells to people off screen.]

Now you have a problem with our powers? There's nothing wrong with them. I'm not hurting anyone by flying! This is how I help people! How I do my job! [The wound is already healing. Hopefully they won't protest to that power, seeing as he can't control it.] You'll shoot me out of the sky for that?

I don't know. I'm just mad. And doing anything about it will get me shot with drugs.

I don't know. Which is part of the problem. Can't fight them when we don't know how many they have. Mostly they just seem to be immobilizing.

Just leave it alone. There's no reason to test them out like this. They're assholes, and this is stupid, but jumping in there right now seems just as dumb!

No. But trying to find out what's going on is a good idea.

That doesn't help. There isn't much to do. Using powers gets their attention. Then that causes them to shut you down. If you retaliate, drugged.

I'm not saying that wouldn't happen, but so far...

[It doesn't take him long to track Setsuna down and when he does, he stops next to him and takes a closer look at his wing.]

Yeah. [A shrug.] It's almost done. Just a little slower today.

[He does touch, carefully, brushing his fingers over some bloodied feathers.]

It better hurry.

[He doesn't look at it, or at Kira.]

It's doing the best it can. My powers aren't the same here.
