[The device records two very happy and fairly large dogs sitting and panting up at the screen, muzzles open and tongues out, tails waggling. The labrador's tail thumbs like a drum, while the corgi seems so happy he's three seconds away from peeing on the street he's on.
Finally, the angle shifts - messily - before focusing on Sif's face.]
They have been following me around for days now. I know I was once in this place, but hold no memory of it. Those who do remember - were they...mine? [Because it can't be because she smells, not since there's a river in which to bathe or the NPC fanboy's house (as a last resort).]
[ooc; Thor the labrador and Fandral the corgi have sniffed their old mistress out and followed her around for a day now. Loki the cat probably don't give a shit.]

[ More clearing of the throat. ]
Are you settling in all right in the City? [ Living in the great outdoors, wrestling bears, bbquing salmon, etc? ]

It is a strange place, but I have seen others as well.

It is strange, I admit. [ Although not completely unlike the environment of his homeworld. ] I think the biggest consolation is knowing that whatever, well, baggage you accrue here ... you'll forget as soon as you leave the City. Like a clean slate, almost.

Losing the baggage is the concern at hand.

How so...?
I-If you don't mind my asking, that is.

Is it possible to carry items from the City back with you to your world?

I'm... not completely sure about that. [ He sounds vaguely apologetic, ] Most people leave their possessions behind when they exit the City. I suppose you could work something out with a Deity. Make sure you leave with the, er, valuable item in question -- when and if you do leave. But...
I'm not sure how much I'd trust the Deities.

I'm sure half the City would agree with that sentiment, Miss.
But aside from that... there's a depressing lack of options here. [ Although it does make him curious as to what the valued item in question is. ]
