[The device records two very happy and fairly large dogs sitting and panting up at the screen, muzzles open and tongues out, tails waggling. The labrador's tail thumbs like a drum, while the corgi seems so happy he's three seconds away from peeing on the street he's on.

Finally, the angle shifts - messily - before focusing on Sif's face.]

They have been following me around for days now. I know I was once in this place, but hold no memory of it. Those who do remember - were they...mine? [Because it can't be because she smells, not since there's a river in which to bathe or the NPC fanboy's house (as a last resort).]

[ooc; Thor the labrador and Fandral the corgi have sniffed their old mistress out and followed her around for a day now. Loki the cat probably don't give a shit.]

Perhaps the dog means to be mine, then.

I do not think it wise to keep an animal you do not know with certainty.

Is it common for those here to keep dogs and cats as companions? Among those in our barracks, I have only seen horses, pegasus, and wyverns. Yours seem rather friendly, though.

I forget how different the other lands are that those things don't always seem as commonplace.

Pegasus are horses with wings...essentially. Wyverns are dragon-like creatures that also carry their riders over long distance. One of my comrades has one named Minerva that he cares for very deeply.

[ Even if he's rather closeted about his affection... ]

Now that I recall, we also have griffons and other such beasts.

Perhaps you called him after Thor when last you were here.

[OH SO AMUSED.]

..It is not too strange, is it? Of course, there are none here from what I can see. I do wonder how people get around great distances without them.

I'm sorry. I am not familiar with Heimdall. What sort of beast is that?

There we have it. Thor, Dog of Thunder.
