[The very tone of her voice has reverted somewhat into the taunt, tight tone of her more bitter days. The ones just after her year absence after Riku's death.]

I feel bad for the boy, but his caretaker... he makes me uneasy. I am unsure which is the lesser of two evils.

He doesn't seem to agree with the idea of us leaving. He says Karl isn't that much of a threat, at least to me.

[She seems frustrated.]

The one that claims he's responsible for the boy. And I disagree about the threat. Karl will stop at nothing to force you to a fight. He wants the Saya he saw in Vietnam, he wants to die at her hand or die with her and I will not allow that to happen.

The other people in the building. I know his penthouse is further up but... I can't knowingly stay and lead Karl into the middle of them. When he was only here for that weekend, it was different. But now, if he's here permanently...
