[He's made his way into town, for once. For supplies, because god only knows where Stiles is. He's wearing his usual sourwolf face, but if you corner him he might perk up - otherwise he's at the supermarket, the drugstore, and buying a pack of shirts.

And also a spare bra.]

I almost got that one last week, but it didn't go with my complexion.

I don't tan easily. I'd consider that fake stuff, but orange was never really my colour.

I'll have to now you've taken the last one. [ With a smirk, patting him on the shoulder. ] It'll look better on you anyway.

[ Derek might smell him coming but he's not going to let that Sour Wolf face put him off. ]

Wow. So running out of black shirts? [ And bras? ]

[Said with all the casualness of a man with two bras in his shopping cart. One is smaller than the other.]

[ He just happened to be in a store for no reason whatsoever. ] I guess you have to be careful, right? Don't want the City realising you're a hot mess. We'd have a revolt.

So I was gonna actually cook for dinner. What do you think?

You can cook?

Yeah. [ Shrugging. ] I mean I cook for my dad a lot. I'm not five star but I make a good lasagne.

[He hears that, and he wants to say something - something inspiring, or at least helpful. But all he can do is take a moment, a breath, and path Stiles on the shoulder.

[ It is super hard not to flinch. Usually their touch is left to threats or the occasional frantic make-out. ]

Cool. Then I'll uh, see you later? [ Because you know, he can't ask Derek to come grocery shopping with him that would be weird, right? ]

[ Okay then. He's just going to lead Derek down aisles by tugging his cart along at the ends. ]
