I have such a craving for ice cream. [Which is disgusting considering she knows where that scent is coming from.] I can see people practically melting on the street. This curse is ridiculous and I hope those affected will...solidify.

Speaking of curses - as well as other ailments - I am working part-time in one of the clinics. I know not everyone is comfortable with Magical cures, but I assure you the Potions I make (when ingredients are available) are quite safe. Think of them as natural remedies.

Besides making Potions, I can also use spells if...you allow me. I promise I won't do anything that makes you uncomfortable.

[She shifts and closes something that sounds like a thick tome.]

I'm keeping track of the curses that frequent the City the most. For some of them, it might be possible to help the affected through it without the curse altering their life negatively. But I'm wary about testing my theories because the Deities might have already accounted for my abilities. In fact, I'm sure they have. [That's followed by a low sigh.] I'm not about to give up on the idea, however. I just have to outsmart them.

What kinda things can you do with those potions or spells? I mean, what kinda ailments can you help with, specifically?

Many things. Of course, in a clinic, each Potion and Spell would be focused on healing. I've treated nasty gashes before, sleeping difficulties, colds... But I know how to treat many other ailments.

You got anything for treatin' pain?

Several remedies, yes. What sort of pain?

I've got this old war wound. Hurts like hell, some of the time. I know the doctor's down at the hospital've got stuff for that, but it doesn't always work.

If there is scar tissue involved - and there probably is - it's no wonder. I can give you several Potions to try?

Yeah, there's a hell of a lotta scar tissue. It's a damn mess.
