If you knew him, Arthur Pendragon has gone home.
[Private for Mercy]
[ Which means, it's time to bury himself in whatever he can.]
Do you need anyone for any extra shifts?
((OOC: I'm heading to bed soon and then I'll get all busy with things for the weekend and stuff so this is really placeholder-y post, but it wouldn't make sense to put it up much longer, ICly. So don't kick me too hard?))

I can use as much time as you can give me.

This whole not having her brother and her kid around thing? It's not working for her at the moment.]
The house is too quiet.
[And it wasn't that Ken and Arthur made a lot of noise. It was more an awareness that she spoke of, a sense that they were in the house and there. And safe. The last time Ken vanished, he came back in the middle of being kidnapped. That had been quite upsetting to Charlie and she was worried about what he'd gone home to.]
action:
Mm.
[ After carefully shifting some animals over, he joins Charlie, putting his arms around her and pressing his nose into her hair. ]
Re: action:
Her hand finds Merlins and her fingers lace through his. This is fine. She doesn't have to say anything, does she?]
action:
But there's nothing they can do about it either. He can only kiss her hair and let her lean on him and maybe lean a bit on her in return because, well... They are in this together. ]
action:
But her husbands presence helps keep her mind off of that, as always. Her lips press against his for just a second, a silent thank you for him still being here, before she curls herself against him.]
This City is dumb and I hate almost everything about it.
[...also, she's moved onto mild petulance. Sorry.]
