Since the City uses the same calendar as is used at home, I simply went by that... although I did notice that, on November third, the City's willingness to pay rent for me disappeared. I believe the City has a means of determining our ages regardless of when we celebrate birthdays.

But your world doesn't use the Gregorian calendar, does it?
