I can't help but think about the date - in exactly one week will be the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. With everyone talking about curses... Well, I believe the Titanic sunk because it was cursed.

[She says this with a completely straight face.]

There was an Egyptian mummy on board the Titanic, and everyone who was involved with this mummy died a mysterious death. And that's why the Titanic sunk.

[Really, still a straight face here - totally straight. She really believes what she's talking about as she continues her little lecture on this mummy.]

This mummy was really pretty, because her body never shriveled up - and it wasn't saponification either - she was frozen! The story says that from the time of its discovery, all the way through to when it got put on the Titanic - and even though it was carried through the desert - her body never melted! The water in her body stayed frozen!

They called this water in her body Ice-Nine!

This Titanic was so nice it has an anniversary for when it sank, does it?

They say the ship was unsinkable, and boasted that. It's irony that it sunk after her creator kept saying she'd never sink. Maybe that's why they put the mummy on there, because they thought it wouldn't sink.

But it's also one of my world's biggest catastrophes. Over 1500 people died.

Tsk. You trust the girl - the ship. That's where they went wrong. If the creator starts tooting his own horn, he's just going to screw it all up. It just doesn't work that way.

[morphic]

Yes, and because of that, so many people wanted to be on this unsinkable ship. It's kind of sad that so many people believed what was said, only to bring them to their doom.

[She's also kind of talking about the own lies she's spouting here.]

I want to be on this unsinkable ship- but I also know how to swim.

[morphic]

But you wouldn't survive in the middle of a freezing ocean. Many people died of hypothermia.

[sealegs]

Well, there are worse ways to die.

[morphic]

Like burning in an incinerator!

[She'd like you to know that it SUCKS being burned alive.]

[sealegs]

That's certainly one of them, sweetness.

I wonder what other terrible ways there'd be to die?

[Akane, your sadistic side is showing...]

[sealegs]

Oooh- how about a magical fist ripping your heart out? Literally.

[morphic]

That sounds like it'd hurt, especially if the heart was still beating when it left the body.

[She looks uncomfortable, like that's a painful though, but in reality, she's enjoying that mental image of someone writhing in pain, waiting for their heart to finally stop beating so they can be put out of their misery.]

[sealegs]

I don't know- they never usually scream. It does look painful.

[morphic]

They don't? How do you know that?

[sealegs]

I had a friend who could actually do that. Well- as much of a friend as that bastard could be.

[morphic]

You do? So you've... seen him do that before?

[She looks horrified by this. Yet she enjoys the sight of bodies blown up from in the inside by bombs she forced them to eat while unconscious.]

[sealegs]

Isn't it bizarre? Magical fisting tricks! What will they think of next.

[morphic]

Well, maybe someone really will make people eat small bombs and detonate them from the inside.

[That can never happen, right? Right? .]

[sealegs]

Maybe! I don't envy them, though.

[She gives a hearty laugh. What an imagination this girl has!]

[morphic]

Neither do I. But it'd be a quick and painless way to die. Unless... they knew there was a bomb going to detonate inside them, then that'd probably be psychologically tormenting.

[Hearing their screams, knocking against the door, knowing they were going to die in a matter of seconds. Ah, it was such a lovely sound!]

[sealegs]

Not that it'd matter much. Sounds like a pretty fast way to go.
