video/action/after dark action for Ed:
[At first, nothing. Maybe Charlie's lucked out? Maybe she's not cursed. And maybe, instead of her regular alarm going off, the City decides she's to wake up to this? Yeah. It's that one. Sorry, Charlie. You're just not that lucky.
The City is treated to a shot of Charlie's bedroom. The blankets are a pile, one foot sticking out from underneath and when the music starts, a pale, thin hand shoots out towards the clock on the nightstand. It smacks the clock once, twice, three times and then Charlie's head peeks out from under the blanket to glare at the clock in confusion.]
...the hell?
[She tries turning it off again, frowning more before shrugging and standing. Stretching, running fingers through her hair and then she notices the device is on. She picks it up and sits again and from the faint bounce, she's sat on her bed.]
There some music curse going on today?
[For Ed; Action; Sometime around 9:43 PM.
Charlie's out. She's stopped at a deli for dinner and she's on the way home trying her damn best to avoid everyone because this shit is ridiculous. A music curse? Really? She didn't even know half the songs that were stalking her. One hot roast beef sandwich and bag of chips in a bag, a can of soda in her backpack and she was set to basically say 'fuck today' and hide in her room.
Because that'll happen without her running into anyone else. Suuuure it will.]

[This is playing in the background.]
DYING!
[Oh holy fuck that song.]
It's his theme song. This can't be denied.
This does not seem so bad. How are you?
it is and he is the most adorable thing oh my god. charlie adores him.

[That song comes to an end and a new song begins. Fortunately it's not loud enough to make having a conversation difficult.]
Good! And I have been well, thank you. The City is very interesting to explore. [still cheerfully] Ed, the not-human... would he still like to kill me? We parted on bad terms; I would like to apologize someday when he is not so hostile.

[Charlie shrugs a bit, nose wrinkling until the song starts playing. Then she's grinning.] Love that song. And...about Ed? I think giving him time to process might be wise. Though, I don't know what you'd have to apologize about. Did I miss something?

[He listens to the song for a moment.] Do you know the artist? I have never heard it.
[Chekov shrugs right back.] I did not understand that we had a misunderstanding. I was rude.

I talked to Ed. Told him he wasn't allowed to harm you. I'm certain he'll listen so don't worry about him.

Ah, thank you. I was not worried, however.

You're welcome, Pavel.
