[Little baby Korra clambers up onto the edge of the Fountain. She's an itty bitty thing, so it's with some difficulty, but with the help of some earthbending, she makes it up.

She stands there imperiously. She's not sure whether the picture thingy on the weird little whatchawhatever is set up right, but she's four years old. She doesn't actually care. She's got a job to do!

She straightens up and looks as grown-up as she can.]

[ooc: Korra's been a bb all weekend! Housemates & friends can run into her at any point over the weekend. Everyone else will find her today at the Fountain.]

Do you have adult supervision?

[If the teenaged version can get into trouble on a regular basis, odds are good that the tiny version won't sit and play quietly.]

[The device is blinking. Why is it blinking? Korra picks it up and examines it critically. She doesn't play Justin's message, but she does manage to record her face and send it back to him.]

[He doesn't know how to interpret that. Did she forget how to use the device? Is she not replying on purpose?]

Do you remember how to send messages?

["Remember"? No. But she does figure it out.]

[He doesn't mind children, but he has no idea how to talk to them. This is probably obvious.]

Is someone watching you?

You are. [Literally.]

[She's not deliberately trying to be a brat; she just doesn't understand the distinction.]

[Actually, children aren't for arresting. But.]

[He's so not getting into this with a child.

Which leads to a moral dilemma. Can he really just leave a kid to her own devices? Is that okay?]

[Excuse him, Justin. Your new resident graffiti artist had separated himself momentarily to label a few buildings with his name, much like a dog taking a piss on a hydrant but much cleaner. He wanted to prioritize his overlooking of Korra, but those labels were an itch he needed to scratch.]

[Oh, yeah. This guy. All Justin knows about him is that he's a friend of Korra's, he hasn't been arrested yet, and he just joined the police; that probably means he's qualified to babysit.]

[Baby Korra makes a face at both the jerkfaces and then RUNS OFF. TAKE THAT, MAKOBEAR!]

[As an aside, Mako writes cop on a sticker and tries handing it to Justin.]

[URGH. YOU'RE MAKING HIM LOOK BAD IN FRONT OF HIS NEW COWORKER. He crumples the sticker with frustration as he chases off after her.]
