[ He hugs back with a quiet chuckle and presses a kiss to her cheek. ]

[ He quietly clears his throat and closes his eyes for a moment to search for the right feeling. He hasn't actually studied the language, after all. It just comes on its own. ]

[Affinity does a double-take, staring at Merlin before scurrying over. She stands on her back legs for a moment, one front foot resting on his leg. Yes? You called, Human-that-my-human-likes?

Charlie watches all this with a smile, looking at Merlin with a bit of pride.]

I didn't think I'd get to see you do that. That was pretty cool.
