150 Howls: March

This has been a weird month. I didn't so much mind smelling like a peach that one day, but the things with teeth and the secrets being told and, well, people being stabbed. I could have done without those.

For some reason, living alone in this huge house has felt particularly lonely lately. I don't think it's the living alone part, I mostly have done that for the past ten odd years. It's just so big. But I can't quite bring myself to move somewhere else. The location is perfect, out of the way, but just off the beach and close enough to the woods that I can have a great run whenever I want. And really, the hot tub and fireplace? Who could give those up.

Speaking of running, though. I wouldn't mind a running or sparring partner, either regularly or on occasion. And the running can be on 2 feet or 4, I'm good either way.

Same. My dogs internal alarm is set at "When Charlie's doing her best sleeping." That tends to be around 5 AM with Gwaine. Tiny dog, microscopic bladder, it seems.

Medea can let herself out anytime she wants, but she still finds it necessary to wake me up to announce the fact and get some petting.

And then, of course, once I'm awake I have to go to the bathroom myself and at that point... I usually go running.

I know how that goes. Once I'm awake, the animals assume it's now time for food and affection and all I want is to crawl into bed with Merlin and sleep for another hour or so.

You can always have guests over! Maybe save a room or two for new people that don't have a place yet. Sounds like a nice place, actually.

And I can only do it on occasion, but I would like to go running. Or spar. [He doesn't remember her name, but he sure does remember her. People who turn into animals are hard to forget.]

I have about 8 bedroom suites saved for someone who needs them, actually. And it is wonderful. Just about perfect for me.

[Not to worry, Mercy is terrible with names, though she recognizes his face.]

I had no reason to use them when we were searching for Charlie, so that's why you didn't see 'em.

I am pretty darn fast and coyotes can get into remarkably small spaces, true.

But yeah, to be able to fly would be incredible.

Mostly unarmed, but on occasion our sensei has us work with sword and staff.

You spar? I'd be up for a spell card duel if that's what you do. Apparently lots of people here don't use them.

I don't really run, but I fly, if you want someone to come with you sometimes. I'm a hell raven, so we don't really walk much in youkai or disguise form.

Well, I am a raven. I can disguise myself as a human-looking body when I want. So yeah, I can change into a raven, but it's my original body.

Lots of people here haven't. They're really confused by me. Where I come from, most people are youkai, so they look all kinds of ways. Humans are the only ones that all look the same. Although all of us youkai have disguises that look human-ish.

And half walker. I can shift into a coyote, have been able to since I was a baby.
