[There's a pause as he takes a long sip from his drink and continues.]

So maybe you ain't Irish, but today you can pretend, y'know. Have enough drinks, and everybody looks fuckin' Irish.

[He adjusts the video a little so he can raise his glass to the camera, as though toasting everyone.]

Just don't do anythin' stupid.

[And then he seems to realize the ridiculousness of that statement coming from him, and laughs until he remembers to shut the video feed off.]

Irish is a place. I mean, uh, Ireland's a place. If you're from Ireland, you're Irish. Or if your relatives're from Ireland, you're Irish.

[A pause.]

The, uh... you know what a telephone is? It's kinda like that, except you can see people's faces on it.

Is Ireland a place in Gensokyo? Because I've never heard of it, but Miss Satori never lets me go outside because I'm too busy keeping the fire going, so I guess it might be out there.

Okay, yeah, I'm not gonna be able to explain that part. 'n no, Ireland's in Europe.

[An even longer pause.]

(She clearly doesn't get it, but she seems to be convinced that her explanation makes sense. At least, she looks self-satisfied.)

Nope! I have to keep Hell running. If I wasn't there, Hell would cool off, and then it would end up all snowy like it is in the Ancient City! I guess the oni like the cold, but if it's cold in Hell, the souls stop yelling, and Miss Satori tells me the souls have to keep being loud because that's what they're there for.
