I've been here more than two years. I really should know better than to eat something like that especially without checking the network first.

It's a little overwhelming to see and feel other people's memories that way. And very...invasive. So, I'm sorry for that.

I suppose it's a little late to say so, but be careful around the candy hearts.

Oh, and, with Lenalee gone now it's only my dog, Tumbles, and myself in this apartment. I don't think I like living alone very much. I have two bedrooms if anyone else is interested.

[ there's a slight laugh at that — not amused as such, but more resigned. that was the problem, he imagined. ] Then you saw and you were privy to my thoughts of myself. What was it you wished to say? Or was it merely the fact that you saw and you wished to share that knowledge? If it is the latter, then— you needn't have mentioned it. I'd have preferred to have wallowed in ignorance of what you were aware of.

It wasn't like seeing a clear memory. It was more...insight? You felt you had to act one way for a time and then when you realized you didn't need to anymore you weren't sure where that left you. [There is a hint of a question in her voice despite having felt it for herself.]

I think that's understandable.

That's one way of putting it. [ he pauses for a moment. ] Understanding doesn't change actions. Whether or not it was understandable isn't something I particularly care for.
