On second thought, I think I'll keep the store closed today-- the books aren't in the best mood, apparently, with this curse. A novel I was trying to shelve nearly took my finger. And I can't seem to tell which ones are safe and which aren't, until it's too late.

Which means, I guess, I've got an unexpected day off. What should I do with it?

No, only some of them. But I don't think I want to risk it.

I'll have to warn my brother about it. His book collection keeps growing.

I'm willing to bet it's not just going to be books that bite today.

So what do you do around here for fun?

Well you've already seen a lot of the park, it sounds like. I'd say you could check out the library but it's probably as bad as my shop, today. And it's still a little cold for the beach-- that's part of why I'm undecided.

[Neil is great at adventures, he's just a little undecided today. And, well, shaken by being snapped at by novels. How do you not know how to have fun?]

How to spend free time.

I don't really have trouble with that.

What a shame, and here I believed I had found a kindred spirit.

What do you usually do in your time off, then, if you do not mind answering?

It's a little tougher to have fun when it's cold, I like to be outside. I don't know, there's always something. Visiting friends. Exploring the park. If all else fails, there're always plenty of good books.

Do you need a band-aid or anything?
