[Have a smiling Tohru face.] I smelled peaches earlier this morning! I think I got accustomed to it, though. [She is sniffing once in a while to see if she can smell it again.]

Are they in bloom? Maybe it would be a good idea to buy some for meals. Is that okay, Korra, Miss Lin, Miles, Jinora? Maybe a peach marinade for chicken?

[Action A; Diva's Palace]

[It's not the blossoms Tohru is smelling. She smells like a sweet and ripe peach, the scent follows her everywhere as she does her chores in Diva's manor.]

[She goes cheerfully about her business, making tea and meals and delivering the food. Once in a while she stops to do a random chore that's someone else's, but she's just trying to help.]

[Action B; Oh Aces;]

[Tohru offers a bright smile to all of the patrons, unaware of the sweet smell of peaches she gives off. Hope it doesn't put anyone off their drinks or food.]

[Action C; Shopping!]

[She's inspecting the peaches, gently putting chicken her hand cart, and giving every passerby a bright smile. She doesn't even have to know you.]

[Maybe she bumps into someone, sees someone she knows, she's apologizing, smiling and waving to just about everyone. Then spazzing out when she has to turn back to get something she forgot. Don't let the peach smelling girl hold up your line, or be in your way if you need something from the shelf behind her.]

[Action D; Beach House Home;]

[Tohru normally cooks Asian, or fixes the water tribe recipes 'Li' shared with her. This time it's just chicken marinated in a few spices and peach preserves spread, with a little vinegar, seasonal vegetables on the side and a peach crumble for dessert.]

[The strongest scent of peaches, however, is likely coming from her.]

I hope this is to everyone's liking! If not, I can always make something else real quick. We have left over noodle soup from the other day.

[He sees Tohru and suddenly appears behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. Why? Because he can.]

Tohru~ You work so hard~

[She startles, stiffening for a moment, eyes wide, then when she hears his voice, Tohru turns a warm smile toward him.]

Mister Nathan! You scared me.

I hope it's okay? I mean, I'm not in the way, am I?

[He vanishes to appear sitting in a nearby chair.]

Not at all. I was simply wondering when your last break was.

[She always blinks a little when he does that, but otherwise doesn't seem fazed. It's occurred to her she might just be so slow, he moves fast enough she can't see him.]

Uh...break. [She can't remember when she last had one. She looks sheepish.] Is it against the rules if I forget to take them on time?

Well you are only human. Does this mean you need one?

[She looks puzzled.]

Do I? Ah, no, I seem fine. I can keep going much longer than this!

Oh good, you do. Come along then.

[He stands up and heads down the hallway.]

Ah, I mean.... [She stares at first, but she can't just ignore a request from her superior! So, Tohru, eventually, follows, wondering if something's wrong.]

[He walks along, stopping only long enough to straighten a picture before he continues onward.]

What is your favorite kind of tea?

[ He's in the study, poring over his pile of books. But as Tohru passes by, he takes a deep appreciative inhalation, ]

Something smells delicious.

[Her eyes widen!] I'm very sorry, Mister Nathan! I didn't notice that picture before. [Remember - Nathan likes straight pictures. Catch them, Tohru.]

Um, I like oolong and green tea. A lot of teas, actually. They're all so good. There's so many good types, it's hard to pick just one.

[She has tea on a platter and assumes it must be that.]

Does it? I just made tea. Would you like some Mister De...er, Mister Karl?

No need to apologize. Diva or Karl probably knocked it sideways in a fit or on impulse. I'm just pleased it wasn't destroyed altogether.

[He waves off further apologies because he doesn't really care.] Good. We'll have some green tea then. I've been wanting to try out this matcha I purchased recently.

[ He shakes his head, a little smile on his lips, ]

It's not tea I smell. It's something else. A new perfume of yours, perhaps? [ A pause, ] You know, you can continue calling me Mr. Decempus if you want. It's grown on me.

F-fit? [They sounded scary sometimes. Still, Karl had been helpful to her, and Diva seemed sweet, er, in her own way.]

The tea sounds good. Would you like me to prepare it for you, Mister Nathan?

I didn't put on a perfume.... [She tries smelling herself, but as she's grown accustomed to the scent, she can't really make it out.] I hope it's not too strong.

Mister Decempus, then. I'm glad you don't think it rude of me.

[Amazing what Nathan saying "don't eat the staff" can do.]

No. I was going to. You're on break.

Are you sure? It's awfully attention-getting. Smells like ripe peaches.

...I doubt there's anyone in the world who'd bring themselves to call you rude. [ Freakishly sweet and perky as you are. ]

[Korra comes up the steps, toweling off her head after a heavy workout.]

Wow. Something smells good.

[She won't be? She looks puzzled and stands there.] A-are you sure? I'll gladly make it. Then my break can start after it's done.

[He waves his hand then moves off into his study, holding the door open for her.]

Y-yes, I'm sure. [She sniffs herself again.] But I did smell peaches this morning. I thought they might be in season, is all.

[She blushes a little.] I try not to be, but it could happen to anyone, right? I could make a mistake.

I really hope it tastes good!

Do you think you'll like it, Korra? [Tohru gestures to the spread.]

[ He tilts his head at her over the edge of his book, ]

Either that, or the City's decided to curse everyone according to their nature. I smelt a great deal of rotten peaches when I was out in town today.

[ A blush? How cu~te. ] Well, as long as it's not too huge a transgression, I'm sure no one would go around trying to chop your fingers off.

[She understands this is an order. Yes. She's supposed to be on break. But...there's a problem. Tohru finds this bothersome, this idea Nathan will make the tea.]

Um, yes sir, Mister Nathan. [She follows him in, trying to remember he wants her on break. No more arguing.]
