I could have sworn we'd just had visitors. Wasn't it December? Or November? Time flies, I suppose.

Speaking of which, today makes four years I've been in the City. I know that's not nearly as long as some, but it's an interesting milestone. It would be an interesting day to leave-- somehow I suspect I'm not that lucky.

What's the longest anyone's ever lived here, does anyone know?

The one and only. Unfortunately, I'm living in the wrong century to meet him. Or maybe just the wrong dimension, if he's come through this place. He's been dead for a while by my time.

[ died on the enterprise-b. of course, he doesn't know about the nexus, as voyager was lost in the delta quadrant before that anomaly came tearing through the veridian system. ]

[Hey, as far as Cameron's concerned, none of you exist. Which introduces some disturbing possibilities regarding Cameron herself and the lovely Mrs. Kirk, but she makes a conscious decision not to think too hard about that.]

I can't say we were close, only that I knew him. Some of his crewmates might still be around, I think.
