The City? [He's trying to speak louder and at least it's now easier to understand him, but his voice is still incredibly quiet.] I'm sorry, that classification is too general... which City is this? Are we anywhere near Kanoko Town?

It's been a while. How've you been?

[Nephenee had taken a nap underneath a tree in a field back home...and woken up in this city. And what an odd city it was. There were a few buildings taller than the Palace, bright lights everywhere that did not burn with fire...was magic afoot in this place? It was unlike anything she had ever experienced, and to be quite honest, she was a bit fearful; she was a strong young woman, however, and so she trekked on. Eventually, though, even someone who worked for hours underneath the sun toiling the fields could get tired, and it was sometime in the early evening when she decided to rest finally. Why had she picked today to train in her full armor? Ostensibly, it had been to keep her body used to the weight of it, as it had been quite awhile since she had used it in battle...she had not anticipated she'd be in it all day.
How could anyone have anticipated waking up in such a foreign place?

Nephenee pushed past the thoughts even as she pushed open the door to what seemed to be a tavern of some sort, judging by the look of the doors, though she didn't know what 'Jazz Bar' meant.

This was hardly a tavern.
Pictures adorned the walls that seemed to have been scribbled on, as did giant, flat, black disks of some sort. An odd music danced on the air, something she had never heard before. The place seemed a little crowded, and she hoped that she wouldn't be too out of place.

Then again, there probably weren't many in the place in full armor, a shield and lance strapped to their back...]

[Raikov was being kept busy by the rush of customers. He did spot Neph however and made his way over to greet her. The armor and lance received a raising of his eyebrow as he studied the girl]
