149 Howls: Visitors
So, it's one of those weekends again.
Um... if there's anyone from home... I know it's a long shot, there never is, but if there is... I've missed you. So much.
Anyway...
For anyone else, I'll be either at the shop or in the garage.

These weekends happen often?
Re: video:
Couple times a year. People come in from all over.
Don't worry. You'll probably be back home at the end of the weekend.
Hey. You far? I'm about to grab some lunch. You look like you might be hungry.
Re: video:
[Which isn't cool, honestly. She misses Dante and a small part of her misses Vergil, even if he did use her and mislead her. It's kind of hard to hate someone after they saved your life.]
Uh...really? I mean, okay sure since I have no money here. That's very nice of you.
Re: video:
I always hope... [She's quiet for a moment.]
Anyway... yeah, definitely. Girl's gotta eat, right? It's nice not to eat alone.
Where are you? I can come get you.
Re: video:
I'm...that's a good question.
[Kat turns the device to face her surroundings, spinning slowly in place. Her voice comes over the speaker again.] Recognize anything?
Re: video:
[She shrugs.]
It's hard.
[She watches what the girl's sending her and nods.]
Yep, I do. I'm maybe ten minutes away. I'll head right over.
Re: video:
[She's been there a few times.]
Okay. I'm Kat, by the way.
Re: video:
I'll be there in a couple of minutes, Kat.
video - action:
[She's just hoping this isn't a bad idea. She'll be waiting in front of a book store, hands in her pockets.]
action:
Hey, Kat. Nice to meet you in person. Hungry?
Re: action:
Re: action:
My first day here a friend helped me out. Only fair to pass it along.
What do you want? Hot meal? Sub? There are a ton of little places around here. We can grab a bite or if you're more comfortable hanging out here we can get something to go and sit out by the fountain.
Re: action:
Re: action:
[She nods in that direction and starts walking.]
So, I hope the City didn't pull you from anything important. Looks like you might have been having a rough time.
[Yeah, she hadn't forgotten those bruises - not that she was one to push.]
Re: action:
Had. It was a couple weeks ago. [A shrug, one shoulder raising a bit more than the other.] We had some problems back home with someone [some thing] trying to control everyone. It had to get messy before it was finished.
[And even then, she's not sure it's finished. Vergil was still alive and Kat worried he would be worse than Mundus.]
Re: action:
I've been there. Sometimes things get messy and you just have to do the best you can.
[She stopped at a doorway.]
You doing okay, though?
Re: action:
I'm fine. I promise. Thank you for your concern, though. I appreciate it.
Re: action:
[Mercy nodded and gave her a smile.]
I just hate to see someone all bruised up, but if you're good... Let's eat.
[She held the door for her.]
After you.

If they're here they'll smell me out - or show up on the Network and I'll see them.

[ he is amused. also laughing. ]
Take a shower 'n chase some tail then. Far more t'be had in an evenin' wasted than sittin' about on your arse, waiting for nothing.

Which is why it's good for me to stay in the places that most smell like me.

[ throwing his hands up, incredulous - laughing still. ]
Of-fuckin'-course. There anything this city don't have?
no subject
That's what keeps us all on our toes.

[ He repeats it quietly with a noncommittal raise of his brows, and then breaks into a lazy grin. ]
So what keeps the lovely lady dancing? Your pack, I might presume?
no subject
Oh, I'm not a werewolf. I'm not entirely human, but not a werewolf, thank heavens.
But as for what keeps me dancing... I like working on cars, I run, I practice martial arts, I love to read...
