Yes, I used to live here. Under a different journal name. For years actually. It seems they like to bring me back during this curse. I'm pleased they do though. I get to see my friends and meet new ones.

Years? Blimey. [But if she's happy, that's... probably good.] I hope you do get to see them, then.

They were good years. [Mosly. Better than being dead?] And I'm sure I will see them if they're still here. How long have you been in the City...ah, we didn't exchange names, did we? I'm Euphemia.

Does it still feel very new? I know it did for me even after that long. The curses keep things so surprising.

That's certainly one way to put it. Personally I'd call them more horrifying than just surprising, but that's just been my experience.

[A beat. he breathes.] I can't say I'll ever get accustomed, but it feels like it's been quite a while.
