The park: with all of her pets. Yes. All. There's a white fox on a leash. A grey-ish cat who goes where the fox goes. An old calico who really doesn't give a rats ass about anything and is hiding under a nearby park bench. There's a small Daschund puppy with incredibly hairy ears who would rather run and pounce at the turtleducks in the pond, only to run away barking loudly when they so much as look in his direction. Because Gwaine is the bravest, fiercest dog ever OH GOD THEY'RE GETTING OUT OF THE WATER QUICK HIDE BEHIND CHARLIE!

And Charlie has found a nice spout under a tree to read. With a hedgehog sleeping on her shoulder. Yes. A hedgehog.

Grocery Shopping: without the pets.

At the Dragon: helping with construction by using her ability to weld.

[ Pyro's walking through the aisles in the grocery store; round and round he goes. He's got a bottle of coke in his hand and intends on finishing it, and not paying for the damn drink because he can. Fuck this City. Who told the dumb deities to bring him back here anyways? ]

[AAAH! BIG BROTHER! Charlie is SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS JERK! But he hasn't seen her yet and she's a few new tricks up her sleeve so Charlie sends a small batch of sparks from her hand. They swirl in front of him long enough to get his attention before returning to Charlie. She'll just be standing here, arms crossed over her chest and a smirk on her face.]

[ Good job, Chucky. The sparks does get his attention away from the sour cream and onion chips he'd been eyeing. He raises an eyebrow at her in a 'do I know you?' manner. ]

[Diane's pretty sure she doesn't like this place. Sure, the park is all right, but it's not home, and it's making her nervous. She's sitting on a bench when she spots the white fox on a leash, and can't help getting up and approaching it -- and its owner.]

[He has a bag of chips and a soda. Because, you know. And he turns the corner and almost runs into her. Because, you know. He gets stuff wrong.]

[Phantom is the first to notice the person, bouncing in place with excitement. Charlie's arm is tugged by the leash and she looks up, grinning at Diane.]

[Kitten sniffs her hand and then immediately loves upon it. THERE IS A HAND AND IT IS WONDERFULL!!!!

[Wow, Charlie. Where did your book go? Certainly not into the hands of this charming fellow who just snuck up behind you. It's not like he's holding it right there or anything.]

[And he tries to kinda, like, wave at her with the hand that's holding the soda. No disasters. It's just awkward. Bless his heart.]

[The most charming fellow. So charming, in fact, that Charlie takes one look at the book thief, stands up and throws her arms around his shoulders in a hug.] Hey, you! Oh, my gosh. Hi!

[charring]

[Yes. This kitten is definitely getting some of the wet food she keeps here for Petrichor on the days when the cat is actually in the house.

Charlie carefully picks the cat up, hugging it gently and carrying it to her office. It's only a minute or two later that there is wet food in a bowl with a fire theme. That's set on the floor for the cat, next to a bowl of water.]

Here you do, little one. I almost wish Petrichor was here to play with you.

[OHMIGAWD FOOD!!!!!! THIS IS WONDERFUL!!!!!!! FOOOOD!!!

He starts noming on the bowl. (And the food too, but he seems to like the bowl better.) It is perhaps at this point Charlie might notice his teeth are a bit strange. He has two rows of them and they're like a shark's.

A second kitten appears in the water bowl and she starts splashing around.]

I'm Brian. Yeah, I think I must be. This sure isn't the aisle I was in a minute ago. So, yeah...

[So charming he not only gets an armful of Charlie, but a hedgehog in his face. LUCKILY HE HAS MISSED HER. A lot more than he'll admit. So he just leans his face away from her pain inducing companion and hugs her back. He may have dropped the book.]

I do. It's gotten bigger. There's a horse at the stables. [Sonic has decided that the hood of Charlie's jacket is a better place to he, so Nathan's face is safe. She steps back some to look at him, still grinning.] Hi, Nathan. It's been a while.
