[The video flickers on and Lucy is in her shop again. She's not paying much attention to it though. Instead, it looks like she's having craft time. There's construction paper, glitter, lace dolies and glue scattered across the surface of the counter.]

Okay, so Valentine's Day is coming up and I really love Valentine's Day. Because of that, everything in the store is 20% off until Thursday. Come and get it while I'm feeling the love.

You're coming to pick me up tonight, right?

[He's the reason for all the construction paper and glitter after all.]

I think the usual time is okay. I'm almost done now.

[By the time she gets ready to close up shop, Lucy's card is done. She woke up with the idea that she needed to confess to Pavel how she felt about him and she dressed carefully with that in mind. She's got her bag, card tucked inside and is standing by the door just inside when Pavel approaches. She steps outside, greets him by kissing his cheek and turns to lock the door.] Work was good?

[It is, of course, not surprising that Lucy looks amazing (the nuances of her outfit escape him), and perhaps equally unsurprising that Chekov looks like he threw on whatever clothes were at hand. He gives her a bright smile and waits for her to lock up.]

Pleasant... quiet. And yours? Is your sale going well?

[At least he appreciates it even if he doesn't get the details of it. Lucy dresses up because Lucy likes to dress up. It makes her feel pretty to have on heels and a dress. She likes feeling that way. She doesn't much care whether other people dress up or not as long as they shower regularly and Chekov clearly does. She finishes locking up, puts the key in her bag and turns around, looking up at him.]

It was good and yeah. Everyone wants to smell good for Valentines Day. [Which makes her pause.] Do they still have Valentines when you're from?

I'm sure people will appreciate the discount, especially on certain items.

Will you show Pinoko around~?! She wantsh to shop 'til she dwops!

What's Valentine's Day?

[By all means, Lucy, feel free to keep dressing up. Chekov would find her beautiful regardless of what she's wearing (or not wearing, as the case may be), but even he can appreciate a little red dress.

Cleanliness, at least, is something that he can do.]

So you are very busy? [He puts an arm around her shoulders.] Of course, yes. We celebrate it in most parts of Russia, as well.

[Pinoko gets a big grin from Lucy.] Yup. I'd be happy to show you around.

It's like a national day of romance. You're supposed to show the people you love that you love them. Traditionally there's a lot of chocolate and flowers given.

[She threads her arm around his waist and leans into him.] It picked up after I announced the sale so kind of? [She looks up at him and smiles.] Good. Then will you be my Valentine for Valentine's Day?

I hope so. It's good for business, but it's also nice to know people will be enjoying all the stuff.

[No one has ever actually asked him to be their Valentine. It's very sweet. Her nose gets a quick kiss.]

It would be my pleasure, Lucy. And would you be mine?

[For all of Lucy's 'wildness' she's fairly old-fashioned when it comes to manners and some customs. HIs reaction gets a smile out of her.] I will. Thank you for asking.

[She hesitates, lips pursed a moment.] I've got something for you when we get to my flat. If you'll come up?

Yippee! Pinoko needs new clothes~ shomething warm and new at a dishcount and a whole bunch of lasht years' shummer clothes if they have 'em in shtock! When you buy 'em off sheashon, they're a lot cheaper then when you wait 'til the weather's warmer!

After that, potsh and pans too! What'll you buy, Mish... Mish— shay, Pinoko doesn't know your name!

I will, yes. It isn't a holiday yet, is it? [If so, he's in trouble.]

[Chocolate and flowers, not really Korra's thing.]

Nope. You've still got four days. [And she's not the sort of girl to insist that he doesn't have to do anything for Valentines Day. She likes being spoiled and she'll readily admit that.

The flat isn't far and they're in the lobby shortly, Lucy leaning out to push the button for the lift.]

Because words are hard? [Flowers and chocolate are easy.]

Lucy, but I have to work. I can only help you shop in my store. We can make a shopping date though if you want and plan it.

Good! What I have for you isn't done yet.

[He can wait until they reach her apartment to see what she has for him. He can't wait that long, however, to kiss her cheek once the elevator is summoned.]

[Okay, she can't deny that. Still, flowers and chocolate seem kind of stupid.]

[His comment gets a big smile out of her and she goes up on her toes in a little bounce.] You're making something or having something made for me?

[He kisses her cheek and she turns her face to kiss his lips. She's still kissing him when the elevator arrives.]
