I woke up today with a
strange watch
on, that doesn't so much tick as beat. Any ideas?

Oh, is that what this is?
[She flips her camera around to show what she woke up to on her pillow next to her. It's small - even for a child's heart - faintly blue and pulsing slowly and erratically on no real set rhythm.]
Yours in nicer, I would much rather have a watch.
