Enough!
Everyone just calm down-
[Steve is out in full armor, and he's either trying his best to stop violence or he's making arrests.]
None of this is necessary-
[ooc: action only! If you should choose it, your character can ask for help, throw a bottle at him, help him, or if you want your character arrested, just let me know!]

action forever!
He waves a hand to send it spinning harmlessly off toward the back of the street, and is hit with the fireworks and strange blue space of an alloy he's never encountered before. And there is an enormous gentleman attached to it! The one doing all the very authoritative shouting.]
.........you must be Captain Rogers.

Son, if you don't go home, I'll call your mother, don't think I don't know your name.
[The kid yelps and runs into one of the buildings, and Steve turns to his savior]
Steve Rogers, I'll assume it was you who kept me from being beaned?
[He offers a hand, to shake, Erik. Shake, Erik.]
no subject
It was. [A more modest person would shrug here.] I'm Erik Lehnsherr. Could you use a hand?
[To be fair, he won't take it personally if Steve tells him he's got things under control. This is mostly just the chance to exercise his powers on a large scale, and he won't stay long anyway because Charles is somewhere on his periphery, soothing someone in shock. But uh, Steve is Captain fucking America, he doesn't need to be told that Erik has seen his share of combat. He can probably tell from his eyelashes or something else equally small and silly.]

[He's right in that regard - Steve can tell that Erik has experience, and he's not going to say no, not when there are riots in the street]
Action
Shhh, Captain. Don't try to stop it. This is freedom being born. You cannot shove it back into the womb, it would be awkward and your hand would get sticky.
Action
This isn't freedom, this is a riot!
Action
Is that not what you stand for, Captain America? Freedom. Justice. Uh. Diner food?
[Trouble? Perish the thought. He is a tiny ball of fun.]
Action
Stop this now!
[He's not going to get violent against a kid, but he's moving forward anyway]
What do you really think this is going to accomplish? A few broken legs? This isn't getting us anywhere!
Action
But that was not my choice. That is their choice. We only ... lit the fuse! No no, bad analogy, we only stoked the embers, everyone else caught the fire and now it is simply raging and what do you expect me to do to stop it? I'm thirteen.
[Not that he would stop it, but you don't know that.]
: Action
[He's kind of disgusted by this whole affair, really.]
Action
We're trying to help. People always get hurt in a war, right? But in the end, things will be better when the deities are gone. It is not as though I intend to try and rule the city.
Action
Did you think about that?
Action
[Considers.] Though, I suppose they shall know who perpetrated it and give them blame to them and them alone.
And by them I mean me. Let us not dwell on this.
