[A figure with long dark hair and a bloodstained shirt runs into frame and, not finding the expected door, trips and falls hands and knees to the pavement, hunching for a moment and clearly cursing, though breathlessly and quietly enough that the device can't quite pick up the words. After a moment, Sparrow begins to look around and spots the device, giving it a fairly worried look before picking it up and managing to turn it off.]

[Sparrow's wary backtracking doesn't go unnoticed by Karl. Yes. Definitely skittish. He'll have to be careful of this one. The last thing he needs is too much trouble.]

That may be true...

However, not everyone finds themselves plucked from amid their surroundings, as you and I have been.

[OOC: Poor Sparrow. He totally wants to eat him. Feel free to either run for it, or stick around for biting! ^^]

[Sparrow backs away a bit more toward the direction of the lights. There's something a but ominous in the use of the word 'plucked' or at least it seems that way given Sparrow's name.]

So that is what happened to you, then?

[OOC: I'll go for running since I don't think Sparrow would be able to get away easily once grabbed and I should probably let my poor character by functional for a bit...]

~A pity, really. I was in the middle of quite a feast before I was interrupted!

[Suddenly, he lunges in a blur of dark hair and white fangs.]

[Sparrow has absolutely seen enough horror movies to know where this is going, and in any case it's a pretty instinctive reaction to run from anything with fangs. Sparrow's exhausted after the events of the day but manages to put on a burst of speed, enough to make a dash towards the nearest place where it looks like there will be a crowd.]

[Always one that gets away. Taking a breath, Karl reigns in his frustration. Better leave that one be. He looked too skinny to be more than mouthful, anyway. He focuses, instead, on leaving before Sparrow sends someone after him.]
