There are. But begging for their lives -- begging to survive -- those are always the prettiest spectacles. Self-preservation makes people stoop to alarming lows.

Shamefully, I prefer to make a bit of a mess. Outside. Inside. There's nothing quite like flaying the psyche and damaging the mind before moving to destroy the shell itself.
