not sure why I typed that but hey now I'm hungry.

Got some errands to do. Can you stomach lunchtime pancakes?

Sure. I'm pretty sure I can stomach pancakes pretty much anytime of day. They're like bacon, it's never not pancake time.

[ She can probably hear him grinning. ]

All right, meet me at the diner round the corner from your apartment at one.

Perfect. I'll see you then.

[ He comes by exactly at one, pushing his way into the diner and smiling at the waitress as he chooses a booth. He likes the ones he can keeps tabs on people with, where the exits are covered even with his nose buried in the menu to buy time with. ]

[She's a few minutes behind him, and makes her way to the table, offering a little smile before she sits.]

Hope I didn't keep you waiting long.

Nah, not even enough for the waitress to notice me.

Good. I dislike not being on time. How have you been?

Swell, busy cleaning up after the whole ghoul thing, y'know? [ He shrugs, plays with the menu because he can.

Those were... interesting. [She fortunately was never found by hers, if she had one.]

I've been well. I think I've settled at least more comfortably.

Yeah? That's good. This place starts being a lot less crazy when you get into it.

[ Pushing the menu across to her. ]

I doubt that it'll ever be less crazy, but I've started to learn not to let the curse things... bother me as much. They'll end eventually... no matter how bad they are.

[She accepts the menu with a little nod and skims it over.]
