9 ☽ ACTION ☾ TIME FOR TEA

[ There appears to be a new worker at the Jasmine Dragon. Immaculately dressed with clean makeup, she's an enthusiastic waitress with a flawless smile. It isn't Berthier, of course, but a young brunette with strangely empty eyes. Her name is Yasmine; does anyone remember hiring her? ]

[ She's an efficient worker, that Yasmine, but everyone who leaves one of her tables seems to be leaving with a rain cloud over their heads. Must be a hard day in the city. ]

[[ooc; This is a post for Berthier's Dark Energy Scheme, which you are still welcome to participate and sign up for. In this post, you will be able to interact with Yasmine ([personal profile] timefor) and grow suspicious of her. You're also very welcome & encouraged to threadjack away and interact with our victims. Confrontation of the droid at the end of the month on the log comm.]]

[And now less bemusement and more glaring. He's offended, surprised, and more than a little disappointed for getting his hopes up about someone intelligent and easy to talk to being just like everyone else. But the way he deals with those things from normal people is to recede into the comfort of his stoic persona which he does in a seamless shift between one blink and the next.]

Excuse me?

[Given full clarity that it wasn't some slip of the tongue or misunderstanding, Zelgadis swaps his surprise for anger (because shocked hurt never does any good at all).] The hell I will. So much for being tolerant of differences.

[A quick flick of his hood has it in place again as he turns on his heel and stalks out of the tea shop. No chance to catch him just outside either; he takes to the air right off. That's quite enough dealing with people for one day.]
