It is nice to have the City quiet again, but yesterday was too quiet. Why are people so reckless about what they lick?

The snow is good. It reminds me of home, but warmer, and with more sun. If we were in Petersburg, there would be less than eight hours of daylight today, and we would likely not see the sun for the clouds. The temperature would be maybe twenty below, Celsius, without wind--possibly colder. I think the Neva would be frozen by now.

This is March, April weather. Anyone who is cold now should be glad that the City is so mild.

[And? Actually, she doesn't have to ask. It probably went a lot like her own conversation with him (except less violent -- she doubts Chekov would fight back like she had). Or Li could be plotting something. Circles within circles within circles, it's dizzying.

[There's very little to elaborate on. A conversation happened, no violence ensued, and now existence is slightly more complicated than it was prior to said conversation. If Hei--Li--is plotting anything, Chekov is all-too-willingly oblivious.

At least Korra remains uncomplicated. He would like to tell her that he doesn't need to be protected, but that wouldn't be true. Hei is dangerous. The only thing to do is to do as he asks, and if secrecy is what he demands...]
