Which... always sounds weird to say, but here in the City... if you're here long enough you'll see people come and go. And sometimes if they come back they - it's like they're different people with no memory of their time here.

How long have you been here for?

About 3 and a half years. Way too long, if you ask me.

I mean, it's not a terrible place and I've made some good friends, but... It's not home.

Though I do live in a huge beach house - which, you know, you're more than welcome to come stay at if you need a place. It's huge, like 8 or 9 bedroom suites and right now it's just me and Harry, so...

Yeah, it is pretty unbelievable. There are times when you just get so homesick.

Certainly! Both planes and zeppelins are present in my world, but the former is more popular than the latter as far as methods of travel go; they are better for the environment. Of course, in my humble opinion, trains are the best choice, whenever possible! Far more scenic and atmospheric. [Clearly, the man loves his trains.]

Here? Paperwork, mainly! I keep track of new arrivals to the City and announce their names in a list on a monthly basis.

Shandela-shan~ [Chandela sounds content and happy!] Shashande-la? [It's voiced as a question: Chandela might be asking her how she is.]
[He sounds lightly amused by her reaction to Chandela.] Yes, very little bothers my partner. Chandela even enjoyed the noisy showers of confetti and streamers from a few days back; it wore them like boas and hair ribbons.

Been on quite a few train trips then? Trains are okay I suppose. But nothing really beats travelling via TARDIS.

Ah, actually, I am a conductor and along with my brother Kudari, we were the Subway Master of the Raimon City underground. [So, basically, he was running those trains.

Chandela happily bobs in the air, as if nodding.] Shanshan! [Before looking to the side at Nobori and adding more quietly:] Shandela-shan... [She doesn't seem to think her human companion likes it here very much!]

I don't know if it's 'usual'...but everything here's kind of unpredictable.

Wish there was a way to sort of track it. You know like some kind of pattern to it.

Yeah, they were. But suppose they are better off where they are now. Having all sorts of adventures.

Me too. I mean. Me, I've been pretty lucky though I guess but...it'd be nice to know for other people too.

[ he pauses. knowing what it's like to miss someone, even if they are better off where they are, he feels bad for Rose, because especially here there isn't a way to get around the way people come and go. it's true other places too but no matter how many times Sora sees it here, it always manages to seem particularly...sad. ]

Um...were you staying with them?

[ even Sora, not the subtlest heart on the block, doesn't quite want to say ' are you alone ' . in some capacities, he can't imagine much worse a feeling. ]

[While losing people is always hard especially those that she was once close with, Rose has to see it in a positive light. It's what keeps her going. There's a brief pause at his question. Although she would have loved to have stayed in the TARDIS it was just so different and she didn't to impose.]
