[The device has turned on to reveal July standing in the bathroom covered in streamers. He doesn't look bothered by this though, too busy looking inside the sink at something. Tilting his head, he pauses a moment when he realizes the device is on.

Oh.]

The sink exploded with streamers and loud noise.

[He's small enough so as soon as he's ready ne'll have them arriving outside one of the shops that ne knows carries children's clothing.]

Clothes first.

[No comment, just July nodding. Clothes would be good, even if he is used to only wearing one outfit. If Hatter would like him to wear more then he will do that.]

[Ne would. He needs more, shorts are fine in the summer but no one (other than a particular idiotic angel) wears them year round and it gives nem something to do. Which means looking around for long pants, long sleeved shirts, and other things.]

[July isn't picky about clothes, just looking at things while Hatter does. Really someone could put him in a bag and he wouldn't complain about it.]

[He might not be, but ne is--clothes make an impression on people and there's no reason for others to notice him. Ne picks up a couple of different items.]

You should try these on to make sure they fit.

[Nodding, he goes to find a changing room because people changing aren't supposed to it in public. That's what he was told once.]

[Well yes, some people are very silly like that. Not that ne cares, but...people.

Ne takes the time to look around for other things he'll need in the meanwhile, socks, underwear...shoes will have to wait until he can try them on as well.

And then ne spots the perfect accessory for July--a small silver pocket mirror. That one ne'll save to give to him later.]

[Putting on an outfit, he steps out to look for Hatter so he can show off what it looks like. He has no way of telling if it fits or not because he would wear something too big or too small without comment.]

[Ne has a good eye, of course it fits.]

Get your other clothes and we'll pay for these.

[Taking the tags off while he retrieves the others, ne'll pay for everything then wait for him.]

[Trotting back in, he gathers his things then comes over to where Hatter is, standing nearby to wait for them to go.]

Are you hungry? We can get lunch now that you won't be too cold walking around.

[And the other things ne'd picked out can be delivered for them.]

Yes.

[Quite hungry.]

Then lunch it is.

[Ne'll take his hand again and lead him out to one of the places nearby--some place inside and warm. And with desserts. Cafe Satine fits the bill. And once there, they can find a table toward the back away from the door.]

[Holding Hatter's hand, he walks close and notes where they are then looks ahead again, sitting down when they get to the table.]

Is there there anything you prefer?

[Ne knows what he'd said earlier, but ne still wants to see.]

[The wanting things really isn't all that consistent.]

[Then ne'll just hand him a menu to look over.]

Pick whatever you want.

[And when the waitress comes over, ne'll just order a sandwich and tea.]

[Oh. He looks at the menu, staring at it without opening it.

He doesn't know what he wants. People order for him.]

[They will work on that another time. For now, ne just has the waitress double the order.]

[Since he's not ordering, he gives the menu to the waitress and puts his hands in his lap.

The perfect picture of a good little boy.]

[Since it's going to take a little while for their food to arrive, ne takes out the small bag that wasn't sent with the others and places it in front of him.]

One does hope this is good enough.

[Lifting the little bag, he opens it to look inside and pulls out the little item. Looking at it, he tilts his head then lightly rests his finger on it.]

Yes. This is good.
