We three options, I think: we avoid them and hope that they are only after us, we incapacitate them, or... [Or. Option three is not a good one.] Or they can be eliminated.

How do we incapacitate them?

[She's completely out of her element. She's a linguistics expert; she never even leaves the bridge. There's a brief moment where she wonders why the hell this is happening to her.

[Could they do that without being bitten? Is there time to find something to restrain them with?

The answer to the latter is no. The ghoul that looks like Amanda Grayson turns the corner, uttering a guttural, "You killed me." She's quicker on her feet than some of the other monsters, her state of decay not all that advanced.]
