[Wintery forest and a dark figure collapsed in the snow can be seen behind him. Nonhuman "chorus" sings off in the distance.]
[Chortling] City, did you honestly expect me to fall for that??!!
*click*
[Poor facsimile of Jan in more ways than one. Easy kill. No hesitation or guilt with that one aimed shot. Didn't bother kicking snow over the body. Bargain basement copy wasn't his brother; could feed the crows for all he cared.
"Wassailers" got louder. Luke waited for them to show. Follow-up act probably wouldn't be quite as hilarious as the first.
Hellsing soldiers staggered into view. Not the true ghouls of his (or any) homeworld, but common flesh-eating zombies - Romeros - doing a silly masquerade. Like he did at his brother's copy, Luke laughed at them. Spurned into attack mode, soldiers tried to grab and tackle. Instead of giving each brain a bullet, Luke teased. Grinning blond be within reach then not. Around and around they danced.
Grinning blond vanished.
Soldiers meandered, got their bearings, and resumed the hunt for him.
Miles away, Luke gazed back over his shoulder, smiling at the milling dots. Tenacious soldiers would serve a dual purpose: Personal timer to keep him from lingering too long amidst the curse's chaos while gathering information, and a handy distraction for use on overly inquisitive others.]

[He doesn't know when Luke will respond, expecting it to take some time, but he still looks worried.
Chandela's floating beside him, looking unperturbed, in contrast to her master, who can't keep his voice steady, terror-stricken.]
Re: [Video; backdated to yesterday]
[I'm sorry, this is incredibly late! Don't mind if I backtag or...? ^^;;;; ]
This place is careening wildly off-track.
Re: [it's ok : )]
[Thanks so much. ;^; ]
It is more accustomed to this.
[A shadow elongates from the darkened window behind him, Chandela turning to look its way just before it disappears; it's too dark to make out anything, although the silhouette looks rather like Nobori's with that coat and hat. Nobori does not seem to notice it.]
... but even Chandela finds them strange. Have you witnessed such creatures before?

[That's more than a little bit disconcerting.]

Are there other types common here?
