Why would I tell Bucky?

[Hold that thought, Cap. Before Steve can answer him Freddy's already reaching up and grabbing him by the face for a deep firm kiss. The stuff fangasm dreams are made of.]

[Steve kisses him back, pulling him up to deepen that kiss with his hands on Freddy's hips, pulling them together.]

[You're a tall guy, Mr. Rogers, and a gentleman. So it's probably not a stretch to assume he can catch Freddy who jumps up to put his arms around Steve's neck and his legs around Steve's hips. Awkward.]

[He can. And he does, and someone on the street whistles as they continue to make out.

But then Steve takes a step back and the mistletoe wears off. Instead of dropping Freddy he keeps holding onto him, and leans back.]

Oh.

Uh.

[Look at this fanboy blush. It's likely he'll never get over his fanboy reaction to Captain America when moments like this happen. Especially when the guy's more or less carrying him.]

Is that what happened.

No.

[He sets him down carefully]

I got attacked by a goose.

[Thanks for not dropping him, Steve. Freddy takes a half-step back to put some space between them because yeah.]

Oh. That's embarrassing.

[Almost as embarrassing as jumping into his arms and kissing him and stuff.]

Well, I did it to get him his Christmas present, it's kind of a surprise.

I didn't know a goose could do that much damage.

[To Captain America that is!!!]

[Sounding a little glum]

Oh, yes! I traded it for his favorite baseball glove from home.

[In retrospect he thinks he probably should have tried to get one but for what? His old set of Avengers figures? Larry's favorite toy car?]

Well, probably for the best. Christmas is less complicated without geese.

I didn't know you were practicing...or are you doing the whole goodwill and charity shtick?

[Freddy flaps his hands like it's no big thing. Of course Captain America would at least do the goodwill thing.]

[He shrugs, but it's not a bad kind of shrug, just a, well, kind of one]
