[Xhex has been enjoying a run around Xanadu. Mostly. The random strangers stopping her along the path that appears to be covered in mistletoe has her a little unnerved.]

I usually prefer picking my own partners for kissing. Or anything else. That last guy was lucky I decided to just break his hand.

Someone remind me to check the network before going out next time?

[Unfortunately for her, Xhex has a ways to go before she's back at the entrance and able to make her way home. She probably won't actually hurt anyone else for cursed kisses. Maybe.]

Guess you could say I'm an eye for an eye kind of girl. He got handsy so the hand got hurt.

I thought so. Have the feeling the...gentleman agrees with me now as well. If not, he's learned to at least keep his hands to himself.

I don't usually rely on them so much as other means of getting my point across.

[When you can rip through someone's thoughts and memories a knife is just overkill.]

[He would be jealous, except that such powers are generally the purview of the more dangerous Crying Spiders and it's not a Ghost Dog's way to envy the other zodiacs.]

So I see, quite capable.

[He extends his hand. Hand-shaking is a gesture that he has only learned here in the City, but it seems appropriate considering the conversation.]

[She'd never believe anyone could possibly be envious of her, not for that reason in any case.]

That is one way to put it.

[Funny, she can agree with that assessment. She returns the gesture easily enough although not with the grip used by most females--she has no problem letting the guys know she's quite capable of hurting them if need be.]
