[Uhura's vision from Saturday has upset her more than it should have. She hasn't talked to anyone about it because she has no idea what to say.

She's currently sitting on the edge of the fountain, nursing a beer as she stares up at the night sky.]

I didn't see anything myself, but... I think they were real. Or at least real enough. [Setsuna completely believed his, after all.]

[She's a little jealous in some ways, despite the heart-pounding fear of facing her memories.]

[Uhura can sympathize with the fear of facing memories. Though she had seen a vision of her future, everything always comes back to the past -- the destruction of Vulcan and the deaths of almost her entire graduating class.]

What do you mean, "real enough"?

Just that from what I could guess, it was either something that actually happened or something that was really, really believable. [The whole thing was surreal, but only because she was participating in something that wasn't hers.]

But it's not necessarily a vision of our future.

I don't see how. The future can be changed, right? [The future is all she has just now, so she dearly hopes so.]

Did you see something bad, too? [Like Rain?]

No, it was happy. [She had certainly felt happy enough, marrying this Vulcan who wasn't Spock.] It just... brought up some unpleasant memories.

Oh. [That has to be a strange feeling. Not one Saya can relate to, especially.] Well, then I'm sorry it made you remember bad things. It seems like those rings upset a lot of people.

I guess that's why they call it a curse.

[But enough. She does her best to shake off this mood.]

But I'm glad you're all right. [She worries about Saya sometimes, though they still don't know each other well.]
