Well, I've certainly seen what you all meant about these so-called curses. It must be dreadfully difficult to get anything done around here, if you're not a dairy farmer.

[He shifts, leaning back slightly in his seat.]

So.. I suppose I've made the best of worse situations, but I am accustomed to having more in the way of resources. Unfortunately, I wasn't given the opportunity to pack before this delightful abduction. Which means, for the first time in quite a long time, I'm looking for a job.

A city of this size must have something more interesting than waiting tables to offer. I've always found a certain satisfaction in making myself of use.

So, tell me: [here, he leans forward again, clasping his hands in front pf him, elbows on the table,] what do you need, my fellow captives?

Oh, I've done any number of things. I'm interested in what the City's looking for.

Because the dance amuses me, will give useful suggestions. For newcomers; stipend can be had at the Welcome Center, and rent in Buildings 1-12 is free for a month.

Learn the lay of the land. You'll probably soon find it's best to get in on something already established. The reason for that is quite simply, unless you've got a truly unique idea or way to stand out from existing crowd, 'insert business here' has more than likely been done and duplicated numerous times already.

What I saw of the public responses here, they didn't seem all that helpful.

If you've the talent for winning at games of chance, go to the Den. Unlike the Casino below, Den has a hotel on its premises.

More importantly for a newcomer to keep in mind; Den has the far better security. Little danger there of property loss, life, and or worse.
