[Marishka is so happy right now that her eyes are glowing gold. Laughing, she does a twirl for the camera before leaning forward with a smile to look at it.]

What a beautiful curse that was. I would love to have another of it, so many more. Perhaps these gods would do such a thing for us.

[And she steps back to do another twirl before dancing again. She's always loved to dance so much. It's one of her greatest joys.]

[His fingers slide across his network device, cutting off transmission. She wouldn't be long. But with how he'd been over the past months, there was no need to prepare. His disheveled attire didn't seem to bother her much anyway, not when she had nothing else to compare it to.]

[She finds him quickly and easily and comes to land before him. Smiling, she holds out her hand for him to take.]

[She laughs and pulls back to tug on his hand so he'll join her in the air.]

[It's been quite awhile since he's shifted to his chiropteran form, and if he had to confess to it, even now he didn't really feel up for leaving the confines of his self imposed exile from the world. But the lovely Marishka wished to dance on the beach, and wasn't inclined to walk.

A small exertion on his part won't kill him, and there's a certain appeal to being near the water.

His human form flows effortlessly into something more bestial, arms disolving into wings that catch the air and lift his now clawed feet into the air.]

[The shift is so easy for her as well, her body flowing like water into that monster form which allows her to fly, wings beating in the air. Laughing, she flies backwards to hold out a hand to him in beckoning before flying faster.

It's a chase and she wants him to play.]

[He doesn't deny her this small pleasure, increasing his speed to match hers. The only thing missing, or lacking, is any deeply felt playfulness on his side. His heart still aches, although he's learning to deal with it. The very fact that he's outside at all is proof of that.

It also isn't lost to him, the memories of how alike the two of them are... both consorts, both advanced beyond mere humanity by the gifts bestowed upon them. Both alone, although her own circumstances are perhaps more blessed than his.

Still, he'll fly with her, if only for the moment. It's something he's realized these last few months... that moments are all that he'll have.]
