[Brace yourself, City, it's a curse day today. And not just any curse, but a fun curse...a DANCING curse.

If you're walking by the City square or the fountain today, you might just run into Rapunzel, dancing along to the music of a street artist, twirling and spinning without a care in the world.

And if you're not careful, she may just pull you in for a dance as well.]

[ooc: The actual dancing starts at about 1:40 or so. I just wanted to put the whole thing in because UNGH, the music. That's what we're dancing to today with Punzie, people.]

Charlie's done with Dragon-related stuff and now has the afternoon off. And she's in a good mood so now is the time to teach her your dance.

[Rapunzel grins and waves at Charlie, and when she and her current partner divide, she moves and pulls Charlie in to dance with her.=

hey Rapunzel, some guy jumped out @ me the other day, said he was cursed. thought Id let u know.

[ He's out and about as Miles today, so if she sees him and feels like making him dance she won't recognize him. ]

She's dancing with so many different people, and she's never seen Miles without the mask, so if he walks by and she pulls him in, it'll be like meeting him again!]

[ He's about to text back when he gets pulled into a dance by the very person he was texting. He barely has enough time to remind himself she doesn't know him like this before blurring out something stupid. ]

Wow your hair is really long. [ Well, something more stupid. ]

You know I think I'm cursed today. I don't usually dance but today I'm really into it.

I think I am too...but it's a fun curse!

No, we haven't. [ Nope. Not at all. You weren't even texting each other a minute ago. ] I'm Miles.

[Ken had been trying to stay away from the dancers, and got a little annoyed at times, but when it's Rapunzel that he finds himself dancing with, he can't stay irritated Not at her.]

I'm not very good at this stuff. So, I'm sorry if I mess it up. [Despite not quite getting the steps, he still has a gracefulness about him.]

That's okay, Ken! Dancing is about having fun, I'm terrible at it!

[She laughs, spinning him around. She's never really danced with so many people before, she's just moving with the flow, and loving every second of it.]

Fun? It's.... [It's not much fun for him, but he doesn't tell her that.]

And you don't look terrible at it. [Maybe because she enjoys it? Is that the key?]

Well, I think the key is trying to enjoy it, even if you know you look silly. If they're making us all dance today, why not try to have fun with it?

I guess. It's not my kind of thing. But at this rate, I might pick up a couple of dance steps, even unintentionally.

Never hurts to learn a few, right? Just in case.

I guess you're right. Dancing still isn't my thing, but if I was cursed to dance, then it would be nice to at least do it well.

[He blushes to that, and is rather honest with his reply.] Only because my partner knows what she's doing.

[A wild Chekov appears! That's not true. He happens to walk by and, seeing an opportunity to dance--and with someone he knows to be quite kind, no less!--he does. He's not good by any means, but he doesn't step on Rapunzel's feet and he's all kinds of energetic.]

[Hi, Chekov! Rapunzel grins and pulls him in to the dance. He's energetic, doesn't step on her feet, and they dance really well together!]

You're really good at this!

Flattery will get you everywhere, Rapunzel. [He's joking and, in truth, visibly flattered.] You are also very good. Is this a dance from your home?

I don't know! I think it might be, but I've never done it before. I'd never actually danced with other people till today, to be honest!

Then clearly you're a natural.

[In spite of the hair. How she manages to keep people from tripping over it and stepping on it is beyond Chekov.]

Ohhh... [She grins and laughs a little.] Sorry!

[Raikov happens to be walking by while out doing some shopping when he spots Rapunzel dancing. He stops and watches her for a bit, smiling.]

[Rapunzel grins and waves at Raikov as she passes him while dancing, before pulling him in on the next turnaround.]

Yeah, I am! This is a great curse!
