[Whether or not he's aware that the video is on is debatable. He's certainly not addressing the video feed in any way, nor does he seem to be particularly self-conscious as he strolls through the city, whistling a surprisingly jaunty tune. He certainly seems happier than usual, and that's captured on the video for all to see.

A few moments later, when he passes by an unsuspecting random NPC person, he suddenly whirls them into a lively quickstep, his surprised dance partner eventually catching on to just what's occurring as they take a spin around the fountain, and execute some excellent dance moves .

Several minutes later, after finishing the dance, he's nodding, bidding farewell, and heading off down the street again, looking around, wondering who's going to be his next dance partner. Could it be you, perhaps?]

[Charlie's made a run for supplies needed at the Jasmine Dragon and has already been pulled into dances with a few people. This is the kind of curse she likes. One where people are having fun.

Not that she's cursed. She does know a few dances that Irv and Norma taught her but she's not actually big on dancing.

Still...she won't stop anyone from trying to dance with her today, provided they keep their hands where they're supposed to be.

Hi, Mister Ryan. Your favorite pyrokinetic is headed your way.]

[As soon as he spots Charlie, he makes a beeline for her, whistling the same jaunty tune, reaching out a hand to take hers, attempting to sweep her into a dance.]

[Charlie's grinning, okay with this entirely because she knows Mister Ryan. She tries to follow his steps, holding her shopping bag out of the way.]

Hello! Having fun?

[He smiles slightly -- his smile never grows particularly wide, it seems -- and continues to execute his dance moves with precision, even as he responds to her question.]

Yes, I seem to be having quite a bit of fun. I'm not sure what explains it, but it's an interesting diversion nonetheless.

[Charlie watches, trying to figure out exactly what dance he's doing. She's seen a few, courtesy Irv and Norma, but she's not that good at identifying.]

Occasionally, the curses around here can be pleasant.

[Perhaps it could! Uhura is on the streets today, humming to herself as she walks to work at the Welcome Center.]

[Well! He's whistling, she's humming, and to his curse-addled brain, it seems like a match made in dancing heaven. Walking over to her quickly, he extends an inviting hand, reaching for hers. He's already begun to whistle more emphatically, and looks ready to twirl her into a dance at any moment.]

[Fortunately, he's not the first person to try and dance with her today -- although he is the first person to an extend an inviting hand first. Curse or not, it's a much appreciated courtesy.

So she gives him a bow.]

Why thank you. I'd be honored.

[She takes his hand -- twirl away!]

[Twirl away he will, pulling her into a rather quick swing dance. Does he care if she knows the moves? Not particularly. He does, and he's going to do them whether any of his partners can keep up.]

Nice to meet you.

[Usually that's the sort of thing you say before dancing with someone, but curses being what they are, courtesies don't always follow their normal order.]

[It takes her a few fumbling steps to catch on, but she's danced enough to know how to keep up.]

People randomly dancing isn't really weird at this point, when you've lived in the City for a while, so Merlin doesn't pay that much mind. But he does also know what kind of person Ryan is, and he can see that he's cursed, so he's pretty amused. ]

[An awkward wizard certainly strikes his fancy, and within a few seconds of spotting him, he's striding up to him, extending a hand in a gesture that indicates that they should dance together. Apparently, he doesn't think this at all odd.]

[ It takes a moment for Merlin to properly gather the situation - he first just stares at that hand with a raised eyebrow until he remembers that, right, the guy's cursed. And so who he dances with probably doesn't matter.

And he's not sure about dancing, but he's not sure he wants to test what kind of reaction rejecting it would get and, hey, it didn't look that difficult and this might give nice blackmail material or something. So, finally, he grabs the hand with an amused grin. ]

[As soon as Merlin grabs his hand, Andrew pulls him into a quickstep with him, not particularly caring if Merlin knows the steps. He does hope he can keep up at least somewhat, though.]

[ Yeah, he's... definitely not doing the steps, but he can sort of keep up. ]

[Tohru, first, looks around to make sure she's not imagining things, but there's no one else near her, so he's looking in her direction, for sure. She points at herself.]

But I don't know how to dance like that. It looks like a lot of fun, though! [She's not even cursed, but will she? Yes, she'll dance.]

You can always learn. Or we can do a different dance. Swing, perhaps, or a waltz, or even a tango. What can you do?

[Even as he's asking the questions, he's gesturing for her to join him in some kind of dance.]

I don't know! I'm just following what everyone else is doing.

[She takes his hand.] So I'll do whichever of those you like. Maybe the waltz? I've seen it before, so I might be able to do it.

[His seeming cheerfulness may be uncharacteristic, but that's probably for the best -- nobody likes to waltz with a grumpy partner.]

If you know the basic rhythm of a waltz, you should be able to pick up the steps quickly enough.

[Tohru would take any partner, grumpy or not. But a cheerful one lends her to smile brightly in return without concern for the other person.]
