Rosella, I do know you're fond of baking, but isn't this a little much even for your enthusiasm?
A few suggestions for those brave souls I saw earlier building a ladder out of gingerbread and peppermint sticks in order to reach the statues of the muses and the gargoyles on the top of the Opera Abandoned:
The muses and gargoyles on the roof are made of marzipan, if you were wondering. I can't imagine that consuming that much marzipan would be good for anyone. In fact, I'm not sure consuming any amount of marzipan is good for anyone.
Gingerbread and peppermint sticks do not seem to make a very structurally sound ladder, or so my observations from my window (made of sugar, it would seem) would suggest, given how many times I've seen the peppermints break in your attempts. I would recommend another method. Have you considered spun sugar ropes, perhaps? Or perhaps licorice ropes?
If you are so desperate as you seem for a taste of the former stonework--I suppose now it's marzipanwork--on the Opera Abandoned, I can provide you with some samples from the gargoyles or the tops of the Corinthian columns. You will not, I'm afraid, be permitted to eat the muses.
Also, although I do know that the gates around the opera house are made of chocolate, please stop breaking the points off the gates as you pass by. Indeed, stop breaking the entire railing, if you would be so kind.
I'm not sure what good the lock on the door might do, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.
Merry would be ecstatic if she were here today. Riff and I would have a time of it trying to keep her in hand. I suppose we'd give up on it sooner or later and let her run wild for a time. It would be its own punishment in good time.
Still, it would be pleasant to see her in the City at a time like this. This may all be a curse, but she would be delighted by it. And that would make it seem less a curse--far less a curse.
~C.
[ooc: Teasing Rosella because...that's what you do a month after you've accidentally killed someone. Obviously. Otherwise, Cain (who is not partial to sweets) is amused but unenthused.]

/sneaks in here amid paper-writing
Papers first!!
The stage seems to be glazed in caramel, if you're terribly curious.
Ugh, so much writing.
Be strong ;; I remember long days of writing...
It will be 25+ pages when it is complete, I am dying.
I wrote 50 more pages on my thesis than I needed. If I can do it, you can do it!!
Or to you, rather.
YOU AND YOUR TL;DR
...though I suppose if a piece were to break off on its own, it'd only be sensible to make sure it didn't go to waste...
YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH OF THE TL;DR IN YOU TOO! I KNOW IT!
