I think I'm just glad that it's only the furniture that's edible; it's pretty harmless, though everything is kind of sticky. And fragile. I broke a leg off a chair-- not to eat it, I slipped on some icing on the floor and tried to catch myself on it. Though, since it's already broken...

Anyway. I can't believe we're past Thanksgiving already! I didn't say anything on Thursday, but well, I'm still thankful for everything I have here. I've been here for... gosh, three and a half years now, I think, and I still think it's worth it. So I'm thankful for that too.

And I'm really glad, still, to have the opportunity to do the things I want to, here. Which brings up a question for you, City:

Well, I never really cared for any of it before. [And the murders a while back put him off a bit.]

The comedies are okay, though, right? No death or anything?

No death. Even when it's not Shakespeare, we've only done comedies. Well, there was a musical that had some deaths, but it was still mostly a comedy. And I didn't pick that one, either.

You charge a lot for these shows? I do have a friend that's really into literature who might wanna see one.

No, not really; it's not about money, we just try to cover our costs with donations, except for the ones we've done that were connected to other events. The first one was for someone's Midsummer party; I'm pretty sure she sold tickets to the ball, though I didn't handle any of that. Just the play.

Well, that's really decent of you guys. Labor of love sort of thing?

I'd probably take my friend, then. Depends on what kind of play you do.

It's the only thing I've ever really wanted to do with my life. Acting, not directing, though I seem to end up doing that quite a bit.

Posters! Definitely do some posters. I work at the zoo, so I could put one up at the entrance.

It's not desperation, I just like having a lot of people involved. There's nothing else like it-- being part of a play, even doing something small. I want to share that with as many people as I can.
