[Starting a barroom brawl and spending a night in jail is not really helpful when you're hunting for a job. Uhura's been trying to hunt down a job her way, but no hits. It seems she made the mistake of causing trouble in a bar owned by someone popular.

So now she's trying it Chekov's way.]

So it turns out there's not much market here for linguists, and a friend told me I should try my luck posting on the network.

I'm fluent in half a dozen languages, specialize in computer programming, and if all else fails [with a bit of a laugh] I make a mean Cardassian Sunrise.

I free all time! [She doesn't have much to do but explore and eat. And eat and eat.] When you want Saya come?

Thirteen...? [Trailing off, because she's trying to count on her fingers, slowly murmuring one through ten. They don't go up to thirteen hundred!]
