[There's a moment of quiet that stretches just a little too long, before Aziraphale speaks up in a rather strained tone.]

Well, this is certainly... unpleasant.

Er-- I think perhaps I ought to say something about the virtues of patience and endurance, but honestly, it's difficult to take that seriously at the best of times. I only hope that those of you who are able to, er, get about, are willing to aid those who aren't.

Er, I can't say I have-- I'm not terribly familiar with most films, really.

[She's hurt. One angel to another, she doesn't bother with the whole knocking thing. She's jut now perched on his couch where she wasn't the last time he blinked.]

Ouch. I didn't realise how nasty they looked from this side.

[Well, he did invite her, he can't be upset to have her show up. He is a little embarrassed-- not because of the wounds or anything, just that his wings are a bit shabby-looking. Maybe she'll chalk it up to the bullet holes.]

I imagine they must be-- er, messy. I can't get a good angle myself.

They're a little worse than messy. Do they hurt a lot?

Oh, not too badly-- I did have some medication earlier, but I find as long as I don't move too much, it's manageable.

I didn't even have them this long. After I got shot down I was kinda stuck in a snowglobe for a while.

A snow globe?

Yeah. Bad guys, trapped people in snow globes. It was really scary.

I don't think I envy you your... rather more exciting pursuits.

I don't either a lot of the time. But others... it sort of makes everything else worth it.

Do you want to watch the DVD now? Or should I make tea? A cocktail?

A good stiff drink would not go amiss.

I haven't been able to, er, put them away. It's terribly inconvenient, when one has gotten into the habit.

I don't know if I'd want to put mine away. It's like losing a friend.

It's a bit more practical, in a bookshop.
