The 95th Song

[Rapunzel had been having a lovely day so far, still riding out the happy wave from Charlie's wedding. She's in the middle of cleaning up a table when suddenly, she cries out in pain, doubling over and collapsing on the floor, as if she'd been shot in the chest several times.

There's blood pooling out across her dress, and she looks down, confused, going pale before passing out, bruises blooming across her arms and face.]

[ooc: Rapunzel has taken on Mindy's assorted battle wounds, specifically: broken ribs, various cuts and bruises all over herself, bruising across her chest from being shot while wearing a kevlar, and a full on bullet wound to the chest (hence the blood).]

[ Leah hears the commotion from her room, and comes out immediately. ]

Rapunzel! Rapunzel?

[Rapunzel is just lying on the ground in a pool of blood, mercifully unconscious.]

[ Leah tries to heal Rapunzel's visible wounds with her magic, to no avail. Instead, she opens a portal to the place of healing and carries Rapunzel best she can through. ]

I need a healer! Someone please help, my friend is hurt.

[Rapunzel is still unconscious, but she moans slightly, very, very pale.]

[Finally someone comes and whisks Rapunzel away. Hours later, Leah sits in a chair at her bedside, feeling small and powerless. ]

[After what feels like forever, a doctor comes out, telling Leah exactly what the damages are: cracked ribs, broken nose, lots of bruising, and a shotgun wound to the chest. She'll live, because she was brought here quickly, and she's awake.
