001 - text; forward dated to late Monday afternoon
[ It has taken Jesse a while to actually get around to post things on this phone . . thing. Not sure what it is, Jesse isn't exactly up to date with all the latest cool stuff. (His parents told him that his brain will cook like a Thanksgiving turkey if he watched too much TV.) It took him nearly all day to figure out how it all worked out. He's seen the past few posts but they barely make any sense to Jesse. Or maybe he's not that smart enough. Maybe being a half-demon makes you dumber or something.
Either way, it has taken Jesse a while to figure out if he should go for a video post or a text post. In the end, he opted for a text post. After what just happened back home, he's still feeling the gut-chilling suspicions, so he goes for text in case demons try to come after him. ]

[And then Charlie realized she's explaining this to an eleven year old and had to get creative and do away with her usual snarky response to new arrivals.]

I'm Theodred. This isn't Australia, I'm sorry. It would be a lot nicer if it was. Even if almost everything there can kill you.

[The letters scroll across the screen before it flicks to video and there's a man, a doctor, pushing a hand back through his hair. The accent's just irony.]
Hey Jesse, I'm Doctor Chase. You must be pretty cool to be worrying more about spelling than getting lost. Did somebody tell you where you are, yet?
