Entry 589; Day 1422
[Filtered from Known DELILAH Members || Unhackable]
Another weekend when pandemonium fairly grips the City--and the Network, for that matter. I've seen and heard far too much already, thank you. Heartbreak and confessions and murder and hatred and bizarre escapades--really, it's quite a lot to hear in a day.
I suppose I'll take it as a welcome relief that I've not been transformed into a cat or a child or a woman for the duration. I don't object to such transformations, but if I had a choice in the matter, I would decide against it.
In point of fact, I don't seem to be affected by these ordeals at all--aside from what I can hear and overhear. I'm almost suspicious about that.
Still, it's all far better than what we endured in October, I suppose. I don't like to say it, but perhaps I ought to be grateful that the curses, thusfar, have been rather mild. Even this weekend is rather milder than any curse in October.
All the same, I believe I shall be keeping myself off the streets and out of harm's way.

[ooc: Enjoy that old-school art, Poly~ And see how far Cain has come... Some notes: these scans are from an early scanlation, so Cain is not a count, but an earl (they don't have counts in England). Also, it's not Shuzette or Chuzette, but Suzette. So long as we're clear. The details of this memory hold, though. And Cain doesn't even know it's up here! Someone let him know...]

Or did you want everyone to see the death of that girl? And your feelings for her.

About a Suzette.

Still going to play a bit dumb, though.]
My cousin, yes.

Sucks you can't remove those things.

And it does, yes.

I'm not doing it out of obligation, either. Can't I care about you as a person, rather than be falsely in love with you for a curse?
filtered;
You may, if you so choose. As I see it, the City simply wanted to embarrass me again.
filtered;
...the City's good at that.
filtered;
Yes, it is.

I'm sure it would be too much to ask you to forget this too.

And I'm not the one that had to live it, either.

But if you want me to not mention it to you again, that I can do. [He wasn't going to, anyway.]

Take care.

... Where is here, anyway?
no subject
It's called 'The City' here.

But how do I get back? [yep. only concerned about that with everything else she's said.]
