Yet another seven day victim.

[It seemed like an easy excursion. Find the Underground and then find the Raven. He'd invited Xhex to come along with him because she was bored and he was bored. Perhaps it wasn't the best of reasons to do anything, but it wasn't the worst of them.

The place seemed all right, really.

So, I know there are jokes about keeping skeletons in your closets, but I didn't think that applied to necromancers.

I'm stuck in here with some very pleasant company, but we're still stuck. Anyone one want to get us out before I think of more bad closet jokes?

Why midnight?

And this is a ridiculously stupid curse.

Most tend to only last twenty-four hours. Both start and end times have always been midnight.

At least this one's benign.

I suppose benign depends on who you end up locked in a room with.

The newcomer doesn't appear inclined to kill you. Request a deck be slipped under the door, then you two can play cards to pass the time.

That's a good idea. I'll ask Karl to do that.

I wonder if the minions could get out.

Minions? Before we parted ways, you sounded adamant about putting the mischief back into 'sleep'.

I did put them down. I just kept the two rats I sent out to rescue the Hatter.

I guess it's good I don't play gin.

Poker, then. Teaching the rats how to play either game would help pass the time even faster.

That would be interesting to try.
