Action- Fourth wall!
[Having seen his father, and dealing with him, Theo began to look around hopefully for someone else he knew.
With the two zombie rats on his shoulder and his general undead vibes, he cut a strange figure moving between everyone as carefully as he could, but occasionally bumping shoulders.]
((Have at the necromancer. People trying to smite him are always fun.))

Hey, sweetie.
[She smiles brightly with the 'I'm going to kill something if this isn't figured out soon' expression in her eyes.]
Where, exactly, are we?
no subject
Enne! I've been looking for you!
[recognizes look.]
In this... city. Run by deities that make Ashkari look reasonable.
no subject
[She maintains her grip on his arm.]
I didn't know there was anywhere that was still run by deities.
no subject
[Losing circulation in arm. One of the rats crawls onto her.]
We're I think it's somewhere like fairy, but not exactly. And I use the term run very loosely.
no subject
[She loosens up a bit and pats the rat on the head.]
Somewhere like fairy, but not exactly... great. That sounds like so much fun. How do we get out?
no subject
Odd, isn't it?
[The rat likes this and makes a gurgling noise]
I haven't figured that part out yet. I tried talking to the deities, but like I said, Kari's more mature than them.
no subject
[Cute, but creepy. She keeps petting the rat.]
How long have you been here? It sounds like it's longer than me.
no subject
[Cute but creepy is Theo's thing.]
That's Jasper, by the way.
About two weeks. I've had the delight of getting turned into a side show freak for a day or so.
Get your free undead rats!
no subject
[So it is.]
Hon, I mean this in the best way possible- why would anyone want free undead rats?
no subject
[Jasper likes her!]
They make great pets? I haven't a clue.
no subject
[Aww. What a sweetie.]
Most people don't even like live rats.

It was like ... you know feeding the animals at the zoo? Except this was tossing rats at the necromancer and watching them come alive. Freak show. They turned this one girl into a living flame and caused another man to ... shoot bees from his hand.
[That last one puzzles him.]
no subject
So. Where can we talk to these gods? Because I have a few things I'd like to say to them.
[Mostly about the way they have been treating her fiance.]
no subject
I don't know. And I've already yelled at them. It didn't have much of an effect.
no subject
[Because other people don't have an Adrienne to light things on fire for them.]
I'm not planning to yell.

[He can't help but smile, however.]
no subject
[She is not smiling. She is angry. Rawr.]
no subject
They're shittier than Kari, but this is their domain and they do rule it.

But the people who have killed them often get hurt or die themselves.

[ The young woman has stopped to stare at him and his companions. ] Do they do tricks?
Re: action;
[He tries not to flinch from the memories. The girl doesn't know.]
And they can do tricks, yes.

Re: action;
I don't know if regular resident is the right thing to call me. I just got here a few weeks ago and I would rather not be one.
action;
Re: action;
[He holds out his hand and one of the rats shuffles forward for her to inspect. It is quite clearly undead (no rat should be able to live with that wound in its side), but fairly well kept together.]
Say hi Jake.
[The rat stands up on its hind legs and wiggles its nose at her.]
/throws The Horseman of Death at you.
Something... is coming. Something not the same as the others. He swings around to face the direction of the oncoming presence. But does not move or make an attempt to contact. He'll just.. wait.]
Hai Death!
The rats on his shoulder went, forgive the pun, dead still, and he stared at the man with the cane directly.]

Odd thing. You prickle across my senses.
no subject
Odd thing. You prickle mine.
no subject
I hope. for your sake, you aren't mocking me.
no subject
[He's not. At least, not really. Perhaps just teasing a little. He's also not afraid.]
no subject
Good. What is this place? [And how was he summoned here, because that takes a lot of effort.]
no subject
As far as I know, it's called the City. No one else has given me a better name.

[One of the rats on Theo's shoulder unfreezes from its zombie fright and leans over to try and sniff the "man" Theo is talking to.]
no subject
All manner of creature and being is pathetic when you are myself. So, I'm hardly impressed by your impression of the so called 'gods' here.
[The Horseman raises a brow at the little rat, eyes flicking from the creature back to it's keeper's face.]
Your pet is a disruption to the natural order. It should be...set right.
no subject
And I don't know why you being a death means that all creatures and beings are pathetic.
[The rat sits up straight and gives him a beady eyed look.]
It's under my control. I know how to keep my things in check. They're my providence.
